Google Launches Internet Beaming Balloons

Google launched Internet beaming balloons into the sky in New Zealand as a test to its effort to bring the entire planet online. The test if successful will give Internet access to the people in the world who do not have  Internet access at present.

The project if successful will provide Internet access to remote areas of the world such as Africa and Southeast Asia. Each balloon can cover 1,250 square kilometers. This project will be really helpful during natural disasters such as earth quakes to bring a particular area quickly online.
